I love this place so much . a 10 plus Plus . the food is banging and the coffee is just splendid .

Service was good. But food was bland. Mabey bring your own spices. Lol

Reading the other reviews I feel we are writing about two different places. The environment is wonderful. We had breakfast there on the terrace which was by far the nicest part of our meal (you sit over looking a stream and forest). The "strawberry stuffed french toast" was two regular pieces of french toast with some whipped cream and some strawberries between the bread - I think we paid twenty for that. Service by this teenager was horrible. We needed to ask for silverware, syrup, refills for the coffee, she never asked if everything was OK, never asked about refills, never smiled. I had the feeling she was annoyed about something.

Nice people but sorry food is average at best (overcooked eggs, dry bacon, great toast tho) but prices are jacked up. $12 omelette at a little diner in the middle of nowhere? $12 biscuit and gravy? Not worth it.

Ate on the deck over looking a peaceful brook. It was very relaxing and the food was great!

We go out of our way to eat here when we can, coming and going from skiing at butternut. The specials are good and there are nice options. We've enjoyed yourselves for breakfast and lunch. My son was a big fan of the crepes recently. Good, simple food.

I understand the local draw. It's cute and quaint, and on a creek. That's why we chose to stop on our vactation. However the food was in the "okay/basic" category (so I won't knock the food too hars), but our service was virtually non-existent. Once we placed our order, we didn't see our waitress once for a check-in, or even drink refill until after we had completed our meal over 30 minutes later. And that's with half the restaurant being empty. I certainly expected more from a small "mom and pop" establishment.

Always consistently GREAT !! Especially if your able to eat outside overlooking the babbling brook !!

One of those hole in the wall places you pass by on a day trip. So glad we stopped here. Not a menu we expected and we were pleased with our meals. Open faced sandwiches with a different mix of ingredients. If your out checking out waterfalls as we were or driving through some of the historic towns in the area stop by. It will be worth it.

The service is HORRIBLE. The staff is not attentive. They are very good at avoiding eye contact. The pricing is on the high side. Alá cart style. When you do get someone attention and ask for something, it doesn't come until you ask again. I had the pancake and eggs, they delivered them without bringing syrup! Had to ask, waited 5 minutes. Had to ask for check then waited 10 minutes before finally getting up and going to counter. Then I hear one of the waitresses tell another customer, we are kinda busy (75% empty tables mind you) if you are in a hurry, you might just want to leave then.....this is definitely a one and done visit. But the food was OK

Wonderful food and atmosphere

My experience is behind the scenes; I am a service professional that has observed the current owner (Danielle) take on a challenge several years ago and create a wonderful place to stop and dine. This young lady has created a delightful place to relax and enjoy , and serves people from multiple areas of mass and New York. Her work ethic is impeccable, and she demands the best from her employees and product. It is an absolute pleasure to service and help her maintain the high standards she requires.

Always friendly staff. Food is both comfort and A bit fancy. Soups are fabulous.

Decent food with unfriendly service.

I can only review what I ate. I had the eggs, Canadian bacon, hash browns and pancakes. I shared with a friend who ordered the crepes on special. Food was good.. Ok... But the coffee tasted like muddy water. Ugh. The crepe was thin and well made but it was stuffed with chunks of fruit... Not to my palette. Citrus, pineapple, apples and banana don't go together, IMHO. And large chunks don't really work well in something as delicate as crepes. A compote is more appropriate. Again, IMHO. Server was very friendly and the price was good.

I love this place. It's clean, quiet, cozy and the service is great. Comfortable dining in a charming environment inside or outside. I would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a great meal in a quaint setting.

Best breakfast place in the Berkshires. The back balcony, which overlooks a babbling brook, is perfect for brunch and the service is always friendly, even during the busiest summer days. With endless coffee and daily specials (including a sweet and savory crepe!!!) Mom's is a must try.

Met up with a friend for breakfast before some dog training, large portions, fresh coffee, friendly attentive server would definitely go back.

The food was good. The price, moderately pricey. Quaint setting. The service was good. Overall a nice little stop for breakfast.

Service today for lunch was great. I was leery given the recent reviews and was pleasantly surprised. Both our server and the other server inquired about our dining needs. The food came out quick, well prepared, and was delicious.

Mom's Cafe is great for breakfast and lunch. It is not open for dinner. She has a wide variety of breakfast food and her wraps and sandwiches are excellent. Sit in the deck in the summer and listen to the brook while you eat. Very Zen.

Stopped here for breakfast. Very friendly people. Food was GREAT. The wait for food was Short. Waitress was awesome. Definitely a good place to eat. It cost like 20bucks for two of us. I loved the color of their coffee mugs. I was even told I could buy one. They was trying hard to keep me happy. I will be stopping in there again.

Wait staff is very friendly very attentive to details. I had the crapes they were excellent.

Stopped by on our drive home. Very nice atmosphere in this little cozy place. Coffee was good. Food was delish and waitress was sweet. Had the lox Benedict and I thought is was very good. Husband had hash and eggs. He too enjoyed all in all a cute, good meal.
